I hope this message finds you well. As part of our continued effort to drive foot traffic and economic vibrancy to Washington Avenue, I’m excited to introduce “Washington Avenue Sips” – a new weekly happy hour event launching Wednesday, July 16th.

Inspired by the successful Center City Sips in Philadelphia, “Washington Sips” invites locals and visitors to explore our incredible restaurants, bars, and shops midweek while taking advantage of the City of Miami Beach’s new $1/hour parking incentive.

What’s In It for You?

Participating businesses will benefit from:

• Increased customer traffic every Wednesday from 5–8 PM

• BID-wide promotion through social media, digital ads, and press outreach

• A special “Sip & Stroll” pass to encourage movement between locations

• Custom signage and feature placement in our official event guide

 

We’re encouraging participating venues to offer:

• $5 beers, $6 wines, $7 cocktails, and/or $5–7 small bites

• Optional retail promotions like 15% off during event hours

• Live music, DJs, or themed experiences to boost engagement
