The Washington Avenue Business Improvement District (BID)’s integral mission is to preserve, stabilize and improve Washington Avenue retail and business district which is located inside historic Miami Beach

World-renowned Miami Beach is both a tourist mecca and a vibrant business and residential community with more than seven miles of beaches, three golf courses, twenty parks, world class art,culture, dining, nightlife and shopping. Miami Beach is a trend-setting art sand entertainment hub for visitors from around the world,  celebrities and locals alike.

In the middle of the cafés, clubs, shopping, international hotels and restaurants is historic WASHINGTON AVENUE. From Frank Sinatra and Jackie Gleason to Prince, Madonna, Gianna Versace, Gloria & Enrique Estefan and DJKhaled  all have owned or own a little paradise on Washington Avenue.

Over 10 million tourist visited in 2018 and 92,000 residents call it home. South Beach is a great place for Vacation, Fun, Sun,Music, Art, Food, and Drink!

Starting June 20th 2019  and every 3rd Thursday of the month the Washington Avenue Business Improvement District (BID) will put the above elements together and launch a Live Music and Arts Series.

ACTIVATION


The BID will activate 25 restaurants, bars and hotels to perform a diversity of Jazz, Rock, Symphonic,R&B, Reggae and Pop. To compliment the Live Music and Art’s series, the BID will Kick off a Wine and Beer tasting that will feature local, national and international Wine and Beer.  This is where you come in.

The Monthly Wine and Beer taste will feature a great selection of local, regional and national wine and beer.  

Sponsors will also have the opportunity to take advantage of world renowned events such as Art Basel (82,000 attendees), South Beach Wine and Food Festival (60,000 attendees) and the 2020 Super Bowl (75,0000 attendees).

Our philanthropic mission is what sets our event apart from other Taste. The Washington Avenue BID Wine and Beer Taste gives a percentage of event proceeds to the local community. In addition we raise funds for the MELODIC CARING PROJECT (MCP) which bridges the gap between music, technology and patients battling serious illness by streaming LIVE personalized concerts to kids and teens in the hospital.
