On October 31, 2019 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm the BID will host “Hallowave”a family fun filled event for children of all ages. We need volunteers to dress in Superhero Costumes, laugh and play with the children.

Position: Sales
Department: Marketing
Duties: Street Team Marketing - This position focuses on handing out flyers at various locations.
Hours: 20 per month
Timeline: The 3rd Wednesday & Thursday of each month.
Compensation: $10 per hour Plus Commission
Earn: $200 - $800 a month.

Sponsorship Manager
The Manager of Sponsorships is responsible for developing and maintaining well-planned sponsorship strategies to meet organization’s financial objectives. This position is responsible for targeting and communicating to existing customers, inspiring and driving new customers, and exceeding financial goals and objectives to Washington Avenue BID. This position is a key member of the team and develops new sponsorship revenues, uncovers and cultivates sponsorship relationships, works with key Washington Avenue BID staff on all sponsorship deliverables and exceeds budgeted sponsorship targets.

Essential Job Functions:

o    Meet and exceed financial sponsorship objectives through direct selling and through management of the Sponsorships team.
o    Develop an understanding of customer’s data and trends
o    Collaborate with operations in developing new programs, events, and promotions.
o    Develop forecasts and planning to meet and exceed financial targets.
o    Build and foster relationships with all sponsorships accounts
o    Create and develop new revenue opportunities through continued sponsorships inventory development,promotions, and in-kind relationships
o    Identify and attend key networking events and functions
o    Work collaboratively with all Business development areas including Marketing and Sales to assist in creating sponsorship relationships
o    Assist in executing and managing all sponsorship deliverables
o    Develop and review all sponsorship agreements
o    Work collaboratively with Marketing and necessary vendors for all artwork development
o    Work collaboratively with Marketing on all website and social media deliverables.
o    Negotiate and execute new sponsorship relationships and accounts
o    Collaborate with Marketing on creative development, execution, and design for all sponsorship print collateral including mailers, brochures, digital proposals, and all advertisements used for sponsorship revenue generation
o    Confer with legal staff on contracts as needed
o    Participate in special projects defined by Business Development Director

All other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications:
o    Must be 18 years of age or older
o    Must have dependable transportation to and from work
o    Must have valid Driver’s License
o    Ability to read speak and understand the English language
o    Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field
o    Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales role
o    Minimum 1 Year Sponsorships experience 

Preferred Qualifications:
o    A positive and friendly attitude towards guests, customers, and fellow employees
o    Strong computer skills with previous experience using Microsoft Office
o    Ability to follow directions both written and verbally
o    Integrity to safeguard confidential information
o    Proven ability to drive sales and ability to forge lasting relationships
o    Ability to safeguard confidential information
o    Must be extremely detailed with outstanding written and verbal communication skills
o    Ability to work with minimal supervision
o    Capability to multi-task and manage multiple sponsorship activities at once
o    Demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines
o    Ability to handle tense or stressful situations

COMPENSATION: $500 base plus commission.
EARN: Average $2,500.00 per month
